24-Port 10/100Mbps + 2- Gigabit Web Smart PoE Switch

For catering to the need of remote management and more advanced functions of the in-line power, PLANET releases two new versions of Web Smart PoE (Power over Ethernet) Switches, the FGSW-2620PVSv2 and FGSW-2612PVSv2.

The new PLANET FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS provides 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports, the two Gigabit ports either can be 1000Base-T for 10/100/1000Mbps or 1000Base-SX/LX through SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) interface. The distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-mode fiber), up to above 10/50/70/120 kilometers (Single-mode fiber).

Both Web Smart PoE Switches are equipped with non-blocking 8.8Gbps backplane greatly simplifies the tasks of upgrading your LAN to cater for increased bandwidth demands. The PoE in-line power follows the standard IEEE 802.3af for making the both FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS able to power on 24/12 PoE devices at the distance up to 100 meters through the 4-pair Cat 5/5e UTP wire.

For efficient management, both Web Smart PoE Switches are equipped with web interface. The FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS can be programmed on basic switch management functions, such as port speed configuration, Port Trunking, Port-based VLAN, Port Mirroring, QoS, bandwidth control, Access Control list and Misc Configuration, PoE port configuration.

Both Web Smart PoE Switches provide port-based VLAN (included overlapping). The VLAN groups allow the 2 Web Smart PoE Switches for being maximally up to 26 for port-based VLAN. Via supporting port trucking, the FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS allow the operation of high-speed trunk combining multiple ports and provide seven groups of up to 8-ports for trucking. And it supports fail-over as well.

With its Auto-Negotiation capability, all the RJ-45/STP ports of FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS can be configured to speed on 10/20Mbps or 100/200Mbps automatically. In addition, the product is equipped with the auto-detected MDI/MDI-X for plugging easily.

MTU Switch

Using the built-in VLAN functionality can segregate users. This coupled with the flexible SFP mini-GBIC fiber module options makes the FGSW-2620PVS and FGSW-2612PVS be one of the best and most cost-effective switch solutions for multi-tenant service providers.
